The shooting at gay nightclub Pulse – which left 49 people dead and dozens more wounded last year- was the deadliest terror attack on US soil since Sept. 11, 2001. That attack was carried out by Omar Mateen, a New York City-born Islamic extremist who pledged allegiance to ISIS shortly before he was shot and killed by police after they breached a back wall of the club.
Officers gathered in a parking lot outside a warehouse off Forsyth Road in Orange County, near Full Sail University, sometime before 9 a.m., Fox reported.
